Walk the Talk and Talk the Walk

Walk the Talk and Talk the Walk:

Since time immemorial, it has been observed that, those people only keep their self-esteem intact for life, who walk the talk.

Since time unknown, in India such people were revered by family members and society as well. These 'walk the talk' people were from all walks of life:
Spiritual Gurus/ Practitioner, like Rishis and Munies, or Sadhus and Saints,
Kings or big businessmen, Scientists, Doctors, small grocery shop owner, butchers, carpenter, goldsmiths, teachers in the schools, retired people, housewives, and even common men and women.

In other part of world, Greece, Arab world, Europe, China, Japan, .....also, it was the fact.

Ethics, Values, Moral bindings were given more importance than the selfish gains. Many times it had been observed that to save the country from foreign invaders mothers were sending their lone child for fighting on the battle field.

After, thorough talk with these kinds of people many scientists found that such people always live a very nice life. Few try to attain salvation, being spiritually awakened. Many become successful in their life, in terms of moral achievements.

There is very famous example from the life of Mahatma Gandhi. Once a mother came with her child and requested Mahatma Gandhi to convince her child not to eat much sweets. However, Gandhiji, requested that mother to come after a span of a month. First Mahatma Gandhi adopted the path of eating less sweets, then, after a month, advised that child to eat less. ...Great. Saint Ramdas from Maharashtra, always used to say, "Bole Taisa Chale Tyachi Vandavi Paule" meaning, "Those people are revered people who speak the same which they follows themselves." Really Great...

In present era also there are many such known and unknown people, who strive on this path. How they are balancing their life is worth watching. Many are not that successful in terms of money or worldly jargon of success, but, at home they are revered and the society around them also respect them for the way they are living- a highly self esteemed life.

When, asked, these people keep saying, it takes time to keep talking truth, and, still live a good life in the present era of falsehood; but, it is possible. It is possible to live affordable and peace full life, only thing required is to know your metrics of success and avoiding rat race. Few of them worked in governmental organisations, few in NGO, few in private sector. They had a clean uncorrupted and disciplined, and peaceful life at every possible stage, phase and in every event in their life. When they retired, they said, it is heartening to know that they were successful in keeping their image clean and still are successful in life with enough money in terms of pension, for after retirement life. In fact, first they walk the talk and now they talk the walk, to enlighten people, that, it is possible to live clean and rat-race-less life.

Great.

I know many of them, if know and want to share you are welcome.

coming more.
