Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 8 Sustainable Global Economic Growth, Safe and Quality Jobs for All, and Achieving SDG and going to Moon, Mars and Beyond

SDG 8 Sustainable Global Economic Growth, Safe and Quality Jobs for All, and Achieving SDG and going to Moon, Mars and Beyond
Problems created or got aggravated by Pandemic: YouTube Video: https://youtu.be/J0g3-C020RQ LinkedIn Newsletter: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/sdg-8-sustainable-global-economic-growth-safe-quality-dr-ashish- As per the SDG Report 2021: https://sdgs.un.org/goals/goal8 1. Globally almost 255 million full time jobs were lost; it’s 4 times more than 2007 to 2009 global economic slowdown. 2. To come back to 2.2% growth of global real GDP per capita, early 2019 standards, it will take 2023 economies across the globe as all of them fell down by 4.4% in 2020. 3. 1.6 Billion workers attached to informal economy having no social security had no earning sources during pandemic as they were living hand to mouth. 4. Tourism got totally devastated due to lockdowns during pandemic. In place of 2019’s 1.5 billion people travelling only 381 million people travelled in 2020, thus it will take 2025 only to come back to that peak again. 5. Pandemic has led 31.1% young Women and 14% young men unemployed. May be many will not be able attain higher studies if their parents lost the job, so we need to be conscious here after and deal this generation with care. 6. Due to lack of funds at home, many youngies will lose on education and training as well as per the UN stats website SDG 2021 Report. 7. In our own Survey we found that even existing jobs of the teachers, and employees in private companies were affected and 100% were getting less salary than usual. Many in India and other countries lost their jobs during pandemic and whole informal sector employing inclusively got washed away, thus throwing billions into poverty. 80% people in lower middle class fell down below poverty line, as they had no source of income. 8. E. g. Take Example, Some families were earning 10 USD/ Day and they stood lower middle class, but during 18 months lockdown, there was no salary, then? Didn't they got down to "Below Poverty Line", as their Earning was ZERO. 9. When visited to certain housing loans companies their 80% EMI got defunct. In one Survey we found that only Government Employees and Big Businessmen could pay their EMI on time, where as Housing EMI got sever jolt due to loss of job or salary got reduced in the private organisations. Buying good property at cheaper cost has increased and it seems richer will become still richer and poor will be thrown into debt trap. So again, concentration of power and money will go to influential, powerful and rich people it seems. 10. Hence, Course Correction is required for this SDG8 Goal Post Pandemic is my humble suggestion. What is SDG8? As per the UN SDG8 talks about achieving Sustained and inclusive economic growth that provides safe, decent and productive employment to all. What are the Targets and Indicators of SDG8? Target 8.1: Achieving at least 7% GDP growth per annum in Least Developed Countries and sustained per capita income in all the countries Indicator 8.1.1: Annual Growth Rate of Real GDP per capita. Target 8.2: This has many pointers clubbed in to one: Achieve Higher level of productivity through diversification Target 8.2: This has many pointers clubbed in to one: • Achieve Higher level of productivity through diversification • Technological upgradation and innovation • Focus on high value-added sectors • Inclusive Focus also on Labour intensive sectors Indicator 8.2.1: Annual Growth Rate of GDP per Employed person. Target 8.3: Promoting Development oriented policies which has lot of job creating fundamentals clubbed together, like: • Decent Jobs creations, • Entrepreneurship development, • R & D and creativity and innovation, • Encouragement to Formal Sectors, • Helping growth of micros, small, medium, enterprises, • Mentorship for business growth, • Helping hand through Financial Services. Indicator 8.3.1: Proportion of informal employment in non agriculture sector employment by gender i.e. • Employed Male/ Non-Agriculture Sector, etc. Target 8.4: By 2030, Stopping environmental degradation, following 10-year framework on Sustainable Consumption and Production, Developed countries should take a lead. • Thus, not only carbon foot print but material foot print is also important if we have to save us and keep living on the mother earth Indictor 8.4.1: • Material Footprint • Material Footprint per capita • Material Footprint per GDP Indicator 8.4.2: • Domestic Material Consumption, • Domestic Material Consumption per capita • Domestic Material Consumption per GDP Target 8.5: Achieving Full Productive Inclusive Employment meaning even for persons with disabilities and with principle of equal pay for equal work for equal value irrespective their genders Indicator 8.5.1: Average Hourly income in any occupation, by gender and for person with disabilities Indicator 8.5.2: Unemployment Rate by gender and persons with disability Target 8.6: By 2020, Reducing the youth unemployment, not in education and / or not under training to learn certain skills to get certain job or for his own entrepreneurship venture. Indicator 8.6: Proportion of youth lying between age 15 to 24 years not in employment, education or training. • This needs course correction as, all can observe that Pandemic has forced many out of job, out of schools and out of trainings. Let’s work together to overcome this obstacle. As in one of our own Survey we found that UNEMPLOYMENT is one of the biggest causes of concern on Mother Earth. Target 8.7: Eradicating child labour and exploitation, irrespective of their gender, in all its forms by 2025 and it definitely needs course correction as lot of people are forced below poverty line and if parents lost the job their children cannot to schools these kids might be forced to do anything by force by socially negative people i.e. antisocial elements. It’s an Alarming point. Governments need to keep a track positively using SIN, Unique ID, AADHAR, Citizenship cards on children in their respective countries, as positive minded children are the best future. Indicator 8.7.1: Proportion and number of children aged between 5 to 17 years engaged in exploitative work by gender and age. Target 8.8: Protecting Labour rights to local and migrant workers and promoting and providing safe and secure environment to every worker, especially working in unsafe, precarious work, irrespective of their gender Indicator 8.8.1: • Fatal Injuries/ 100,000 • Non-Fatal Injuries / 100,000 • By genders status • By migrant worker status Indicator 8.8.2: • Level of National Level of compliance of labour rights by gender and migrant status, as per the textual sources of national legislature, • Level of International Labour Organisation (ILO) compliance of labour rights by gender and migrant status Target 8.9: By 2030, devising a plan that helps growth in tourism which helps growing employment by services and promoting local products and culture Indicator 8.9.1: (Tourism Direct or Related GDP/ Total GPD) and growth in this ratio. • This needs course correction as whole tourism industry was halted due to pandemic. Target 8.10: Banking and Insurance Services should reach at the grassroot level and hence strengthening the local banking and financial institutions Indicator 8.10.1: • Number of ATM (Automated Teller Machines)/ 100000 adults • Number of Commercial Banks Branches/ 100000 adults Indicator 8.10.2: • Proportion of Adults age above 15 years holding bank account or holding account with mobile money service providers 8.a: Increased Aid for Trade Support for developing countries, including enhanced Trade Related Technical Assistance to Least Developed Countries Indicator 8.a.1: Aid for Trade Commitments and Disbursements Target 8.b: By 2020, Developing and operationalising the strategy for the youth employment and implementing the Global Jobs Pact of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Indicator 8.b.1: Existence and Developed and Operationalised national strategy for Youth Employment which should be independent from the national Strategy of overall employment. Finally, let me request you, to please contribute to this cause of Sustainable Goals so that next generation will say, our ancestors were great and legends, otherwise, if we handover the spoiled planet i.e. our Mother Earth which is not liveable for them, then, they might curse us. So, Let’s LIVE and Let others LIVE and then let’s LEAVE this Mother Earth with positive note. Let’s LIVE for a Cause, and Let’s LEAVE for a Cause. Let’s LIVE for Positivity and Let’s LEAVE Positivity behind us when we LEAVE Mother Earth. YouTube Video: https://youtu.be/J0g3-C020RQ get subscribed if you wish. Thank you very much. Sustainable Development Goals: SDG7 Latest Technological, Affordable, Reliable Sustainable Energy to all, Need of the Post Pandemic Corrections, and Achieving SDG and Going to Moon, Mars and Beyond

SDG7 Latest Technological, Affordable, Reliable Sustainable Energy to all, Need of the Post Pandemic Corrections, and Achieving SDG and Going to Moon, Mars and Beyond: YouTube URL: https://youtu.be/JFRAKjZ794s SDG7 Latest Technological, Affordable, Reliable Sustainable Energy to all: Problems world facing: As per the UN SDG 2018/19/20/21 Reports: https://sdgs.un.org/goals/goal7 • 2.6 to 3 Billion population still use dangerous and harmful pollutant energy sources for cooking • Almost 1 Billion people lack basic electricity facility and Sub Saharan Africa has 75% population who don’t have this basic facility • Energy Efficiency Improvement Rate is also less, it need to be increased to 3% by 2030 but from 2010 till 2018 it was 2% only. • Modern Renewable Energy Consumption and Production is also not up to the mark, hence quality of life and services gets affected: • Electricity Sector has just 25.4% part of Renewable (Solar, Wind, Tidal, Hydro, Biofuel, Geothermal, Waste to Power, etc.) Energy Production • Heat Sector has just 9.2% part of Renewable (Solar, Wind, Tidal, Hydro, Biofuel, Geothermal, Waste to Power, etc.) Energy Production • Transportation is far behind, Just 3.4% vehicles run on Renewable (mostly Battery powered) Energy. • The Best Solution is to Improve R and D in the Renewable Energy Technology and Implementing which can help improve the affordable and sustainable energy to all. SDG 7 Targets and Indicators:
• Target 7.1: By 2030, ensuring universal access to affordable, clean, reliable Energy with modern technological resources • Indicator 7.1.1: Proportion of Population having access to Electricity / Total Population, has to increase to 100% by 2030. • Indicator 7.1.2: Proportion of Population with reliance on clean energy/ Total Population, should be increased to 100% by 2030. • This definitely needs course corrections after Pandemic • Target 7.2: Increasing the share of renewable energy sources in the energy mix globally, by 2030. • Ex. In, USA it was 12.6% in 2020 so this share has to be increased is this target. • Indicator 7.2.1: Share of Renewable Energy Sources/ Total Energy consumption. • Ex. After USA and China, India Ranked 3rd in the world in the Energy Consumption and India has 21.25% share in the Renewable energy generation in 2020. • Target 7.3: By 2030 doubling the rate of Energy Efficiency Improvement • Indicator 7.3.1: Energy Intensity Ratio = Energy consumption / GDP • Target 7.a: Promoting investment in Energy Infrastructure and Enhancing International R & D Cooperation: • In Clean and Renewable Energy Technology • Energy Efficiency • Advanced and Cleaner Fossil Fuel Technology • Indicator 7.a.1: International Financial Flow via FII through FDI and Foreign Investment in the developing countries for clean and renewable energy resources and R and D in Energy Production and even in the hybrid systems • Target 7.b: As per need of each state/ nation, Expanding Resources and upgrading technology, infrastructure in: • Developing Countries, • Least Developed Countries, • Small Islands, • Land Locked Countries • Indicator 7.b.1: • Ratio of “Watts / Capita” in Developing Countries, • Ratio of “Watts / Capita” in Least Developed Countries, • Ratio of “Watts / Capita” in Small Islands, • Ratio of “Watts / Capita” in Land Locked Countries • Finally, it’s sure that we have technology and human resources to achieve this by 2030, just willingness of whole human civilisation can be the added fuel and energy to Achieve SDG, and then going to Moon, Mars, and Beyond. • “Dr. Nikolai Kardashev defined the Type 1, then Type 2 then Type 3 Technologically Advanced Civilisation Levels and I claim here that humans can reach even further level of civilisation who can control even the quark or the string or the Tatva or Tanmatra as per the Vedanta if we Achieve (MDG at that time) SDG and can match any advanced civilisations when we find them or they find us as per the Dr. Frank Drake Equation or as per the idea that there are many advanced civilisations existing in the Infinite Space, Dimensions, and in the Infinite Galaxies/ Brahmand. Till then, let’s build strong foundation by Achieving SDG (MDG at that time) and settling on the Moon, Mars, Earth 1, Earth 2 and going Beyond.” Copyright Dr. Ashish Manohar Urkude, 2006 • For whom we are doing, for our kids and next generation. Hope you agree. Just think over it. Dr. Ashish Manohar, Soulution Master, India

SDG6 Sustainable Water for all purpose and Sanitation for All, Targets and Indicators Achieving SDG and Going to Moon, Mars and Beyond

SDG6 Sustainable Water for all purpose and Sanitation for All, Targets and Indicators Achieving SDG and Going to Moon, Mars and Beyond SDG6 Sustainable Water for all purpose and Sanitation for All, Targets and Indicators • Reference: https://sdgs.un.org/goals/goal6 , https://youtu.be/A0nEwoeO5-Y As per the UN SDG 2018 Report: • 2.3 Billion People live in Water Stressed countries. • 1975 till 2015 wetlands reduced by 35%. • 1975 to 2015 Forest loss was 1/3rd of wetland loss, and hence the conditions are very serious, so we need to conserve forests as well as wetlands
As per UN SDG 2020 Report: • 1/4th to ½ in fact, 50% population lack the pure drinking water and sanitation facilities. • 2 Billion lack safe drinking water, • 3.6 Billion lack basic sanitation facilities and • 2.3 Billion lack basic hygiene. As per the UN SDG Report 2021: • These facilities can help faster Pandemic Recovery but still 129 courtiers don’t have Sustainable Water Supply so the BEST SOLUTIONS could be the alternate sources like desalination of sea water or some other sustainable means are need of the hour. • Also, Momentum was lost in the Pandemic now triple efforts would be needed to bring back the momentum again to bring at par with 2018-19. SDG6 Targets and Indicators: • Target 6.1: Achieving Universal and Affordable drinking water for all by 2030 was the target but above figures those we discussed needs course corrections • Indicator 6.1.1: Proportion of people getting safe drinking water. • What a nadir state, humans don’t have pure drinking water? • Humans need to correct themselves before it’s too late. • Target 6.2: Everyone including people living in vulnerable situations should have sanitation facilities by 2030 without any gender bias • Indicator 6.2.1: Proportion of people using safe sanitation facilities including safe soap handwash. • Target 6.3: Has many points to be achieved by 2030 and it needs course correction due to pandemic: • Reducing Pollution to improve water quality • Zero dumping near the water resources • Zero dumping of hazardous waste and harmful chemicals anywhere • Proportion of waster water treatment will be increased by 50% • Increasing recycling facilities • Globally, Increasing safe use of water facilities • Indicator 6.3.1: • Proportion of industrial or domestic water treated safely • Indicator 6.3.2: • Proportion of water bodies with clean water quality. • Target 6.4: It has several points: • Increasing efficiency of using water in all the sectors, • Ensuring substantial water supply, • Ensuring water withdrawal sustainability, • Addressing water scarcity, • Reducing Percentage of people who suffer from water scarcity • Indicator 6.4.1: • Change in water efficiency in particular time period • Indicator 6.4.2: Level of water stress = (Fresh Water Withdrawal) / (Water Resources available) • Target 6.5: Integrated Water Management, may it be by international cooperation if needed • Indicator 6.5.1: Degree of integrated water resources management implemented on the scale of 0 to 100. • Indicator 6.5.2: Proportion of international water management basin area with operational arrangement of cooperation • Target 6.6: Protecting and Restoring water ecosystems, including mountains, rivers, wetlands, forests, lakes and aquifers. In fact, during Pandemic some part or portions of all these places might have recovered due to little to no human interventions. • Indicator 6.6.1: Change in the water related ecosystems over particular period of time • Target 6.a: It’s a huge target and might be one of the worst affected too due to pandemic, as it has several pointers: • Expand international cooperation and international support to developing countries in: • Water and Sanitation related activities and programme those includes: • Water Harvesting • Desalination • Water Efficiency • Waste water treatment • Recycling Technologies and • Reuse Technologies • Indicators 6.a.1: Amount Government officially spent on water and sanitation development • Target 6.b: Supporting and strengthening the cooperation, participation of local communities in water and sanitation planning and implementation and management activities • Indicator 6.b.1: Proportion of the operational policies that have clear indicators of participation of local communities in water and sanitation management Final Requests: https://youtu.be/A0nEwoeO5-Y • Let’s avoid this situation: Cape town, South Africa has sever water crisis: Such a situation that water became scarce and rationing of water was forced… you may refer this UN water website article: https://www.unwater.org/country/africa/south-africa/ • 11 cities those could run out of water, a BBC article: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-42982959 • Surprisingly, Bangalore which had 250+ big “water” lakes were there, is also part of this list. • I don’t understand are human parasites over the Mother Earth or what? Why are we looting Mother Earth and forcing us in to Environmental catastrophe? • “There are still full 8 years left apart from 2022, so, we still can Achieve SDG as we have technology, resources and skilled humans, we just need willingness to achieve!” • As I said many times in the past, I am reiterating again, “It’s better we learn fast otherwise, All Dinosaur fossils will have All human fossils as forever companion”. Sustainable Development Goals: SDG5 Targets and Indicators and Achieving SDG and going to Moon, Mars and Beyond

SDG5 Targets and Indicators and Achieving SDG and going to Moon, Mars and Beyond SDG5: Achieve Gender Equality and Giving women full rights at par with men, and Empowering All women and girls Let’s see what’s the impact of Pandemic on this pointer: YouTube Video: https://youtu.be/lqCwG7vsakk
1. As per our own Survey, Women were doing 4 times more work at home during Pandemic, 2. Women were handling online education of children and helping or actually doing student’s classwork behind the scenes  and helping in their home works too, because both class and home were at the same place during Pandemic, 3. Women were helping husbands in their Work From Home (WFH), 4. Women were cooking ‘more’ variety of foods at home, as everyone during pandemic and especially lockdowns were at home, 5. Thus, they were/are doing 2.5 to 3 times more work than that of men, which is certainly unpaid, 6. Pandemic is squeezing women out of labour force, as per the UN SDG Report 2021, 7. Pandemic might force 10% more child marriages that earlier projected to be 100 million in coming decade means that is population of State of Maharashtra. 8. Suggested Solution: Child Marriage is a big problem and that is why I have suggested that 12th grader should be the minimum Basic Education criteria to be called Literate and Eligible to get married because in 12th grader only children become almost 18 years age. Thus, if every child gets compulsory education, till 12th grade then only 100% literacy is possible, too. We can keep a track on each child using AADHAR/ Unique ID/ SIN/ like citizenship cards. If Pandemic and Anti Polio Vaccination can be tracked why can’t good things be tracked? Thus 100% literacy and above problems also could be solved. 9. As per the 2018 data 1/3rd of women population in the world have faced violence against them at least once in their life time. This is nonsense in the environment where we live. In fact, by God’s Grace we strictly follow, “Yatra Naryasu Pujynate, Ramante Tatra Devta!” It means, God lives with them, where people not only respect but also revere the women. Hope the world follow this norm, everywhere. 10. Ok let’s move on to Targets and Indicators of SDG5. SDG5 Targets and Indicators: Video: https://youtu.be/lqCwG7vsakk Reference: https://sdgs.un.org/goals/goal5 • Target 5.1: End All forms of violence, discrimination, negativity against ladies and girls. What are the indicators? • Indicator 5.1.1: • Legal Framework to promote non discrimination and monitor equality against any gender • Target 5.2: Eliminate all kinds of violence and exploitation against women and girls in public and in private spheres • Indicator 5.2.1: Proportion of women and girls above 15 facing any kind of physical or psychological violence in last the 12 months • Indicator 5.2.2: Proportion of women and girls above 15 facing sensual violence in last 12 months • Hope at least humans behave like humans if not ascetic, saint or god like. • Target 5.3: Eliminate all harmful and devil’s practices, such as child and early marriage, etc. • Come on, at least humans should behave as humans not as devils. • Indicator 5.3.1: Proportion of women got married under age, etc. My request is at least let them live. These are devil’s indicators or human indicators? • Indicator 5.3.2: Proportion of women faced devil animosities and atrocities … again, are these human indicators or devil indicators? • I feel ashamed as a human being while reading, speaking and expressing these points and I understand how much pain the UNO researchers and members might have felt while putting these points here. • Target 5.4: Recognising and Valuing the unpaid humanitarian work women do at home by covering as a social protection, is need of the day. Simple. • Indicator 5.4.1: Proportion of Time spent on unpaid domestic work with demographic and gender wise details. • Target 5.5: Ensuring women get equal opportunity as a decision maker in every quarter of society in family, corporate, politics, economics, and public life. • Indicator 5.5.1: Proportions of women in • In the National Parliament • In the Domestic Government • Indicator 5.5.2: Proportion of women in managerial position • Target 5.6: Ensuring women reproductive rights in accordance with the Programme of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development • Indicator 5.6.1: Proportion of women aged between aged 15 to 49 years taking their own reproductive decisions • Indicator 5.6.2: Number of countries ensure women with legal support and guarantee women 5.6.1 • Target 5.a: Faster Reforms needed on equal rights to economic resources, property, financial services, inheritance, natural resources, in according to national laws. • Indicator 5.a.1: Proportion of Agriculture Population with ownership rights for women • Indicator 5.a.2: Proportion of countries with legal framework giving women’s rights to land ownership • Target 5.b: Technology should support women empowerment especially ICT • Indicator 5.b.1: Proportion of individuals owning cell phone by gender • Target 5.c: Strengthen legal framework for gender equality for women and girls • Indicator 5.c.1: Proportion of countries with procedures and systems to keep a track on allocations for gender equality and women empowerment Final Requests: • Frankly, it’s shame that 50% population i.e. girls and women are not treated properly though they happen to be our Mother, Daughters, Grandmothers, Sisters, Wife, Aunty. So, if a woman is doing 2.5 to 3 times jobs more than man, then shouldn’t she be called nothing but Goddess? Please think over it. • Hence, we should empower women, girls, and give them rights to inheritance, share in the decision making may it be corporate, local, national government or in the United Nations. Please think over it. • Let’s make this world a better place to live for women and in fact for everyone. • In fact, Mother is the best person in everyone’s life, then why not women be given decision making rights and empowerment and respectable treatment, too? Please think over it. • Just think over it, a spaceship is travelling in space and it has 100 people in it, then, don’t you think, all of them should be the allrounders, irrespective of them being women or men? Please think over it. • Then why gender disparity? Let’s treat everyone at par. In fact, each specie each individual is equal in front of God/ Nature, then why not this theory becomes everyday practise for humans? Please think over it. • Thank you very much. Sustainable Development Goals: SDG4 Targets and Indicators and course corrections due to Pandemic, Achieving Sustainable Goals and Going to Moon Mars and Beyond

SDG4 Targets and Indicators and course corrections due to Pandemic, Achieving Sustainable Goals and Going to Moon Mars and Beyond • In the series of Achieving SDG and Going to Moon, Mars and Beyond, here is the Explanation of SDG4 with correction required for Post Pandemic. What is the SDG4? • In simple language, it’s nothing but Ensuring Quality Education, Life Long Learning for All, and opportunity to get mentorship to acquire skills to prepare to live a Quality Life. Reference: https://sdgs.un.org/goals/goal4 , YouTube URL: https://youtu.be/lWIvJYlmQOE
What are the PROBLEMS visible Post Pandemic, as per the SDG Report 2021? • Minimum Reading Proficiency among 1st to 8th Graders for READING, WRITING is GONE. 55% kids just can’t detect the alphabets or simple spellings even due to gap of almost 2 years, some don’t remember addition and subtraction, multiplication and division even. • The gain of MDG and SDG since last 20 years work is about to get wiped out, due to impact of Pandemic, if we don’t work on war footing on Education to All front. School going students increased from 65% to 73% from 2010 to 2019 before Pandemic, but now due to lack of earning sources parents can’t send their kids to school, and schools are demanding fees as they can’t pay to their teachers and employees, so the chain reaction will have negative impact in case quick actions are not taken. • Worldwide School completion among Primary Education increased from 82% to 85% from 2010 till 2019 and for Secondary Education 46% to 53% and if we go 20 years behind then Primary Education Completion may fall down below 80% and Secondary Education completion may fall down below 45%, meaning waste of efforts of human civilization in the dawn of new millennium. • Our own Experience and Survey: We found in our own surveys that Working parents and parents who were frontline soldiers were literally crying for this diminishing readability value among their kids. • Also, in the Least Developed Countries (LCD) the Only 56% schools have drinking water 33% have electricity and 40% schools have simple hand washing facilities. It needs huge investment with post pandemic corrections. What are the SDG4 Targets and Indicators? · Target 4.1: Ensuring that all boys and girls get quality, free and equitable primary and secondary education till 2030 but as already quoted at the start it needs course correction now due to high impact on Education sector due to global pandemic. What are its Indicators? • A special comment on these ratios or proportions is that Development is not statistical expertise it’s actual work on the grassroot level that is counted, but, it is also true that if we have the data then we can take proper action. So, try understand both the sides of the story, always to get clear picture, without bias, to develop humanity at all the levels in all the spheres of life. • Indicator 4.1.1: It’s a Proportion, for Reading ability and For Basic Mathematics, and the calculations are separate for the girls and the boys: • a. For the Grades 2/3: For Girls: Reading Ability = ? Basic Mathematics skills = ? and For Boys: Reading Ability = ? Basic Mathematics skills = ? • b. At the end of Primary Education: For Girls: Reading Ability = ? Basic Mathematics skills = ? and For Boys: Reading Ability = ? Basic Mathematics skills = ? • c. At the end of Secondary Education For Girls: Reading Ability = ? Basic Mathematics skills = ? and For Boys: Reading Ability = ? Basic Mathematics skills = ? • Indicator 4.1.2: • Completion Rate: Primary Education • Completion Rate: Lower Secondary Education • Completion Rate: Higher Secondary Education • Target 4.2: So after Completion Rate is the J this Target is there, jokes apart. • In this Target by 2030 ensuring that all the governments across the globe that all girls and boys get access to early childhood deployment, and pre primary education so that they are ready learn in future as they enter the primary education system. During pandemic this system across the globe got destroyed so it needs some course correction. • What are indicators? • Indicator 4.2.1: Proportion of children with demarcation of girls and boys, between age 2 to 5 years, are on the track of physical, psychological wellbeing. • Indicator 4.2.2: Children, girls and boys, participating in an organised learning environment before they enter officially into primary schools education. • Target 4.3: Ensuring equal access and affordable Quality Technical, Vocational, Tertiary and University Education to all adults, youth, gents and ladies, across the globe • Indicator 4.3.1: Participation of Youth and Adults in the Education in the last 12 months or 1 year in Formal Education and Informal Education. • Target 4.4: By 2030 all skilled youth and adults should be able to start their job or entrepreneurship journey as per their technical and other relevant professional skills, and numbers should increase substantially over the years. • Indicator 4.4.1: Proportion of youth having relevant ICT skills. (This is some what amazing that only ICT skills have counter here, is it the only thing that kids must learn? Pandemic have proved other life skills were also useful apart from ICT) • Target 4.5: By 2030 All inclusive education should reach to women, to differently able to children to indigenous people to nomadic tribes to people living in vulnerable situations by REMOVING ALL the DISPARITIES. • However, during pandemic there was disruption in all these plans, strategies and activities, hence, we need to resurrect and revive the targets and put some life in them with some extended time frame. • It is humble suggestion here is, that, in case they clubbed with the timeline of going to Moon, Mars and Beyond, it will add fuel to further human evolution towards its supreme being on the mother earth. • What are the Indicators? • 4.5.1: Parity Indices: Education Ratios, and Education Indicators to be disaggregated: • Female/ Male, • Rural / Urban, • Bottom/ Top, • Disability status, • Indigenous people, • Conflict affected people Target 4.6: Ensuring that all women, men achieve the literacy and numeracy by 2030 and can carry on their lives with basic minimum knowledge for quality life. What are the Indicators? • Indicator 4.6.1: It checks the fixed amount of Proficiency in functional Literacy and Numeracy skills. Percentage of Male achieving Literacy and Numeracy , and Percentage of Female achieving Literacy and Numeracy • Target 4.7: Ensuring that all the learners acquire knowledge and skills needed to promote: • Sustainable Development • Sustainable Life Style • Human rights • Gender Equality • Promotion for Peace and Non Violence • Global Citizenship • Appreciating Cultural Diversity • Cultural Contribution to Sustainable Development What are the indicators? • Extent of Global Citizenship Education, • Education for Sustainable Development right from gender equality to human rights to all SDG • National Education Policy of each nation should align with Sustainable Development parameters • Curricula to be reviewed, revised, refurbished to align with Sustainable Development Parameters • Educating the Teachers for the same • Educating the students with the same aim • Target 4.a: Providing and building such education facilities those are sensitive to taking care of children, ladies, differently able people and are safe, peaceful and inclusive environment for learning for all to learn, develop skills to live quality life and contribute to achieve Sustainable Development Goals. • What are indicators? • Indicator 4.a.1: Proportion of schools offering basic facilities to all • Target 4.b: Improving Admissions to Higher Education, vocational training, Engineering, ICT, STEM, in Developed, Developing, Least Develop countries by increasing number of scholarships for the education and encouraging development in the least developed countries in Africa to developed America. • What are the indicators? • Indicator 4.b.1: Official Records of Volumes of Scholarships offered and given to students by field of studies and type of scholarships • Target 4.c: Increasing number of qualified Teachers and improving quality of Teaching with sharing of skills with international exchange of teachers from Developed countries to least developed states and remote island states. • What are the indicators? • Indicators 4.c.1: Availability of Proportion of Teachers with the minimum required qualifications, by educational level • Some Humble suggestions: In 2006, I proposed modifications in the syllabi from 1st grader to the Ph.D. level, where in the students get basic education to live and skills to Achieve MDG/ Sustainable Development Goals and later to set up human base on Moon, Mars and Beyond. This will make most of the humans all round personalities that could help further Evolution of Humans as Supreme Being on the Mother Earth and wherever in which ever dimensions humans may settle. Let’s try to implement such Education system and Walk the Talk for the forever Human survival. Dr. Ashish Manohar, Solution Master, India , https://youtu.be/lWIvJYlmQOE

HOWEVER, Pandemic has generated Health Services Disruption, enlarged Investment Discrepancy, increased Rich country Poor country Disparity and created Data Discrepancy which got amplified due to lockdowns. • 1. Problem of Disruption: Due to Pandemic, 90% i.e. more than 170 countries are reporting Disruption in health services and negative impact on health, also life expectancy is halted or reversed in many countries. • 2. Problem of Discrepancy: Investment in the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) still not enough. • 3. Problem of Disparity: North America has 150 nurses and paramedics/10000 and there are 25 Doctors/10000, WHILE in Sub Saharan Region there are only 10 health workers/10000, and there are 2 Doctors/10000. • 4. Problem of Data: Impact of Pandemic is still unknown till December 2021 due to lack of Data and problems in collecting data due to lockdowns across the world.
