SDG7 Latest Technological, Affordable, Reliable Sustainable Energy to all, Need of the Post Pandemic Corrections, and Achieving SDG and Going to Moon, Mars and Beyond: YouTube URL: https://youtu.be/JFRAKjZ794s SDG7 Latest Technological, Affordable, Reliable Sustainable Energy to all: Problems world facing: As per the UN SDG 2018/19/20/21 Reports: https://sdgs.un.org/goals/goal7 • 2.6 to 3 Billion population still use dangerous and harmful pollutant energy sources for cooking • Almost 1 Billion people lack basic electricity facility and Sub Saharan Africa has 75% population who don’t have this basic facility • Energy Efficiency Improvement Rate is also less, it need to be increased to 3% by 2030 but from 2010 till 2018 it was 2% only. • Modern Renewable Energy Consumption and Production is also not up to the mark, hence quality of life and services gets affected: • Electricity Sector has just 25.4% part of Renewable (Solar, Wind, Tidal, Hydro, Biofuel, Geothermal, Waste to Power, etc.) Energy Production • Heat Sector has just 9.2% part of Renewable (Solar, Wind, Tidal, Hydro, Biofuel, Geothermal, Waste to Power, etc.) Energy Production • Transportation is far behind, Just 3.4% vehicles run on Renewable (mostly Battery powered) Energy. • The Best Solution is to Improve R and D in the Renewable Energy Technology and Implementing which can help improve the affordable and sustainable energy to all. SDG 7 Targets and Indicators:

• Target 7.1: By 2030, ensuring universal access to affordable, clean, reliable Energy with modern technological resources • Indicator 7.1.1: Proportion of Population having access to Electricity / Total Population, has to increase to 100% by 2030. • Indicator 7.1.2: Proportion of Population with reliance on clean energy/ Total Population, should be increased to 100% by 2030. • This definitely needs course corrections after Pandemic • Target 7.2: Increasing the share of renewable energy sources in the energy mix globally, by 2030. • Ex. In, USA it was 12.6% in 2020 so this share has to be increased is this target. • Indicator 7.2.1: Share of Renewable Energy Sources/ Total Energy consumption. • Ex. After USA and China, India Ranked 3rd in the world in the Energy Consumption and India has 21.25% share in the Renewable energy generation in 2020. • Target 7.3: By 2030 doubling the rate of Energy Efficiency Improvement • Indicator 7.3.1: Energy Intensity Ratio = Energy consumption / GDP • Target 7.a: Promoting investment in Energy Infrastructure and Enhancing International R & D Cooperation: • In Clean and Renewable Energy Technology • Energy Efficiency • Advanced and Cleaner Fossil Fuel Technology • Indicator 7.a.1: International Financial Flow via FII through FDI and Foreign Investment in the developing countries for clean and renewable energy resources and R and D in Energy Production and even in the hybrid systems • Target 7.b: As per need of each state/ nation, Expanding Resources and upgrading technology, infrastructure in: • Developing Countries, • Least Developed Countries, • Small Islands, • Land Locked Countries • Indicator 7.b.1: • Ratio of “Watts / Capita” in Developing Countries, • Ratio of “Watts / Capita” in Least Developed Countries, • Ratio of “Watts / Capita” in Small Islands, • Ratio of “Watts / Capita” in Land Locked Countries • Finally, it’s sure that we have technology and human resources to achieve this by 2030, just willingness of whole human civilisation can be the added fuel and energy to Achieve SDG, and then going to Moon, Mars, and Beyond. • “Dr. Nikolai Kardashev defined the Type 1, then Type 2 then Type 3 Technologically Advanced Civilisation Levels and I claim here that humans can reach even further level of civilisation who can control even the quark or the string or the Tatva or Tanmatra as per the Vedanta if we Achieve (MDG at that time) SDG and can match any advanced civilisations when we find them or they find us as per the Dr. Frank Drake Equation or as per the idea that there are many advanced civilisations existing in the Infinite Space, Dimensions, and in the Infinite Galaxies/ Brahmand.
