"Tell me one worthless and useless specie having no medicinal value" a question of Guru to Charak

"Tell me one worthless and useless specie having no medicinal value" a question of Guru to Charak

In ancient India Gurukul was the system of education.

Student at tender age used to go to Guru's place and study for 12, 18 ...years.

After general studies s/he used to specialise in one subject.

Charak went to his Guru.

After completion of studies in Ayurveda, his Guru send Charaka to find out at least one specie in his village which is not useful and does not have any medicinal value.

Charak made a whole list of species.

All plants, animals, and other species had at least one medicinal value attached to them. Finally, Charak, one of the great Ayurveda Guru came to his Guru touched his feet and said, "There is not a single specie which is not useful on this planet".

He got his degree-Acharya-Doctorate.

Great people great stories, great anecdotes, great to remember and tell to next generations.
