One of the Chancellor of the International University asked me, "Why the research and books on indeginisation, which shows it's a obvious that if everything is manufactured in India then it'll be cheaper and will be better serviced for customers as well?"
My answer was, "How about Robotics and Manufacturing Technology? How about Patents and copyrights and trademarks? Where the royalty is going? Where the credit is going? Where the profit for all these activities are going? Any Advocate can understand. I'm not against Globalization or against the Multi-National Companies (MNC), but more the indigenisation by all the countries we'll have multiple ways as well as cheaper ways to manufacture, and these variety all over the world can sustain the economies of each and every country. Why we talk only about one particular country? Why not all countries have sustainable economy?"
Another senior person in 1998 asked me, "It's Indianisation or Indigenisation, you always talk?" He heard my guest lecture in some colleges about my this argument and Liberalisation, Privatisation and Globalisation (LPG) talk of the town and the world at large. I asked him, "Where would Legal rights go?" He said, "Obviously to the country where it's patented?" Then, I said, "Sir, hence, indegenisation of technologies, resources, manufacturing technologies, etc. should be owned by India, e.g. Cars, if Mercedes-Benz or BMW or Honda or Toyota or Ferrari or Bentley or Rolls-Rice or Lamborghini or .....is manufactured in India, and still it's patent, trademark copy right is hold by Germany or USA or Japan or UK or France or Italy then it's not 100% Indian made?" He further said, "Are you against MNC's and Globalization due to their profit sharing and these royalties we pay to them?"
I asked him, "Please allow me for this question back to you." He said, "Ok?" I asked him, "Why, not all but most of the foreign literate people in India are so myopic? Why don't you realise, what ever you publish your copyright goes to publisher who are sitting pretty in foreign land of Journal's origin? Why don't you realise that even if you buy a Suzuki car in India still royalty of patents and part of profit goes to Japan? We also hold Maruti-Suzuki but at present we don't have choice hence we do. Once, even Tata's and Mahindra's start indigenous the manufacturing robotics technology and software, then we'll call Tata's and Mahindra's as indigenous vehicles and then we'll buy it, they are also not fully indigenous." It's a fact still today in 2015.
The old boy was adamant, "Do you know how much investments are required? Now, if all the top technologically advanced countries lose their domination then what?"
I asked him, "Sir, with due respect, in our GSLV program, which country is ready to provide us cryogenic engine?"
He said, "None?"
I said, "That's the reason not only India, but, all the countries should have indegenisation program. This total indeginisation can make all economies self reliant and self sustaining and self propagating as well. I'm not against Capitalism or Communism or this political view or that. I'm not against relationship building nor against any country or business. However, when we talk about every village should be self reliant then what about nations and organisations and individuals, shouldn't they be self reliant? Also, in case 100 countries and 100 companies manufacture the car or space age technologies in their own ways then, wouldn't they be developing in their own ways? One of them could be a break through technology for the future....trust me when in use...it can got any level further."
He said, " True. I thought this thought will be against the globalization, hence, was the objection."
Then, I told him and all that, in this globalization and competition war cheapest manufacturer with high quality will win the race but in case that country/ organisation is economically giant entity and captures the global market then it could lead to monopolistic condition again. Any how left to this world, what to do and not, but I can visualize this is not true globalization as it favours only limited or few economies or few companies only who can survive the law of survival of the fittest and not survival of the weakest. If humanity has to survive and sustain then "Survival of the weakest is the law.....for all economies in fact to all the species especially, it's a lesson for the humans.....Let weakest survive and then fittest will automatically will take care of themselves, and indeginisation could be the best solution as it favours locals and glocals as well."
I said, "That's the reason not only India, but, all the countries should have indegenisation program because they know their own conditions and people very well and can implement the plans according to their own conditions. This total indeginisation can make all economies self reliant and self sustaining and self propagating as well. "
No questions were asked further and slowly students and staff came forward and supported the idea of Indeginisation in the era of Globalisation.
My all the 5 books worth 2200 self typed and published by god's grace, right now, in the name of "Indeginsation" proves this. They are available on URL: http://ijordgroup.in/books-by-ijord/
You can download and if you wish can submit USD 5 or INR 500, in the account given on the website. We trust all and the whole humanity.
I wish all the best to whole humanity and all the countries.
