Chinese Mind: Look How It Works
Once I was discussing few important business proposal with my boss and with our client in Toronto.
The competition was among two companies one was lead by an Indian having 100% Indian work force, all Mechanical Engineers from India. Our competitor was a organisation from China, and all of them Mechanical Engineers from China.
Later, Indian lead organisation grabbed the contract as we were on time and produced the prototype of the product before anyone could conceive the idea. It was contract of $110 million for the month of October.
After the deal was finalised Chinese party arrived. (Very late).
Literally one of the person rushed in by opening the door by some amazing way and by keeping the security guard engaged in talking with other Engineers.
While we finalised the deal, this man came with prototype, made that $110 million deal of ours just $50 million and requested the owner to think again.
This contract came to us and to Indian organisation as the deal was finalised but November and later contracts went to Chinese. Still it is going to Chinese without a break. Indians, still could not grabbed the contract again from Chinese and we could not reduce the prices up to $50 million. In fact the $110 million was the lowest price that any other party in the world could offer except Chinese.
I asked one of my Chinese friend, the Mechanical Engineer from the above organisation, "How come it is possible?"
He said, "Asisi (Meant happiness in Chinese and my name is Ashish), you have brought good idea in the manufacturing industry producing prototype as a proof before the contract is grabbed. We were late as our prototype was no ready. However that gave us one more idea, if we can reduce the prices along with other aspects by involving all the stakeholders of the organisation then this contract would be ours forever."
I asked him but how could you know it.
He said, by ethical business intelligence.
After few months again we exchanged communication.
He said further, "In one contract you earned the profit of few millions, but, our organisation grabbed the further contracts and now our organisation thrives on it for years. We have 1200 work-force and this contract has become bread and butter for all of them. You earned the profit only once, we are earning just $1 million profit every month on that contract but our business has survived and sustained. Also later we could grab many such contracts around the world.
Still no other organisation in the world could snatch away that particular contract for the same quality for the same price. In China we think about survival of the weakest and survival of many and not survival of the fittest, or survival of the most intelligent, or survival of few organisations or survival of the richest. We in China think about how to provide bread and butter to many. By doing so automatically the owner earns a lot, as the cost of living is not much in some parts of China".
Still my Chinese friend and me are in touch with each other and he had become top boss in the organisation. He still thank me for his success. I told him OK man it was the idea of mine but it was him who implemented the idea and above all Chinese people allowed him to take responsibility at such a younger age. He said that his boss did not took away credit from him, instead he allowed him to take responsibility of the whole project so that he could concentrate on other.
That is how Chinese mind works.

Indian Business Mind: Look How It Works
It's a true incident.
An Indian man Mr. P (good friend of my good friend of yester years) walked into a bank in New York City and requested for the loan to Loan officer.
He told the loan officer that he was going to India on business purpose for two weeks and needed to borrow $10,000.
The bank officer told him that the bank would need some form of security for that loan amount.
So Mr. P handed over the keys and documents of new Ferrari parked on the street in front of the bank. He produced the title, the proofs and everything was authentically checked out.
The loan officer agreed to accept the super-car as collateral for the loan.
The bank's president and its officers all enjoyed a good laugh at the Indian (Mr. P) for using a $250,000 Ferrari as collateral against a $10,000 loan.
An employee of the bank then drove the Ferrari into the bank's garage at the basement and went on to park it there.
Two weeks later, the Indian returned and re payed the $10,000 and the interest,which comes to $30. 82.
The loan officer said, 'Sir, we are very happy to have had your business,and this transaction has worked out very nicely,but we are a little puzzled.While you were away,we checked you out and found that you are a multi millionaire.What puzzles us is, why would you bother to borrow just '$10,000' ?
Mr. P, an Indian Businessman replied, 'Where else in New York City can I park my Ferrari for two weeks for only $30.82 and expect it to be fine over there when I return?''
The Bank President and the whole staff who were calling names to Mr. P, soon realised why he is multimillionaire and how amazingly the Indian Business Brain works.

"Eyes": How to keep them healthy? Here are tips from Ayurveda Experts:
"Do you take care of your eyes once a week or at least once a month?", the most common reply would probably be in the negative.
The eyes are considered to tbe the most important organ in ourt body and yet, people neglect to care for them.
Although we use our eyes everyday 24 X 7, we rarely pay attention until there is some serious problem.
Ayurveda advises to take care of health while in a healthy state.
You can maintain perfect eyesight for most part of your life by following some simple remedies.
Every morning after waking up, fill your mouth with water, close the eyes and sprinkle water on them about 10-15 times. Be sure, as Ayurveda advises, to wake up before sunrise. Do not use hot water to wash the eyes.
Do not wash the eyes or face when the body is sweating, especially after hard physical exercise or after being exposed to heat and sun.
Do not stare continuously, specially while looking at long distance objects. Blinking or giving rest to the eyes is good.
Do not look at the objects in bright sunlight for a long time.
Avoid reading, writing or working with eyes in improper light, or when the light is not sufficient.
Take a break and give rest to the eyes if you feel heaviness or tiredness in the eyes.
Staying up late in the night and sleeping after sunrise is harmful for the eyes. In case of staying up late, drink a cup of water after each hour or half hour.
Protect your eyes from dust, smoke, strong sunlight and strong wind. Avoid staying long in such conditions. In case you have to stay, blink often and massage the closed eyes gently with your palms.
Try to maintain regular and clean bowel movements. Constipation weakens the eyesight. In addition; too much anxiety, mental stress, grief, anger and worry are harmful for the eyes.
Regular eye exercise maintains perfect eyesight. One simple method of exercise is moving the eyeball - right and left; upwards and downwards and rotating it in the clockwise and anti-clockwise directions.
Another simple way of protecting of eyes is through 'palming'. Rub the palms of both hands for about 30 seconds, close the eyes and gently place the warm palms over the eyes.
Eating cabbage and carrots is very beneficial for the eyes. These should be eaten raw. It is all right to drink cabbage and carrot juice mixed together or separately.
If Triphala (an Ayurvedic preparation) is available, you can wash the eyes with 'Triphala water'. Put a teaspoonful of Triphala powder in a glass of water, and let it stay overnight. Strain the water and wash the eyes with it.
Putting one drop of honey in each eye once a week is also beneficial to the eyes. It causes a bit of irritation, but cleans the eyes.
Try these remedies and keep your eyes healthy and beautiful. These remedies can be used by everyone, including those having weak eyesight. Through these methods, one can even improve one's weak eyesight and maybe even give up the use of spectacles forever.
