Government Policy / Promises Implementations beyond individual Personality and beyond Political Party Politics in Power or in Opposition

Government Policy / Promises Implementations beyond individual Personality and beyond Political Party Politics in Power or in Opposition:

"What do people like us who are illiterate going to get from setting up that IIM?" A poor chap in the neighborhood. There is another side to this, these people say, IIT, IIM do not help directly to poor people, at the same time government also do not help directly to poor people...etc. As what he said, further shows the kind of knowledge it's reaches to them. So the brand building and reach is the problem it seems now for these entities, thus, also, these are the real problems before these nations premier institutions, that, common man doesn't feel these premier institutions don't work for their betterment and work only for their own selfish desires and/ or individual and organisational achievements.

Further he said, "Tikad shikun sanyani lok farenlach jatyet agar kaam karteyet tar kayale suru karatye government?" i.e./ Meaning, "If people studying there help foreign companies or work there or go and settle in foreign, then why government start more IIT and IIM?" He further said, "Tasabhi, kontahi government asaley tarihi amahley kay fayada?" Meaning, "Let it be any government what people like us are going to get?" It shows the frustration of a common man in India in the present era.

Next what he said, is also more important, "Amhi pannas varshya pasan baghatoy, magachi government jey vayada karatey tey pudhachi government purna karat nahi bapu....".
Meaning, "What ever past government promises, the next in power may or may not fulfill it."

I tried to tell him, if his grandson studies hard he can go to IIT or IIM or even to AIIMS. Also tried to convince him that governments are working hard and hence big roads, electricity to all, ....etc. is happening now a days...and even AIIMS is coming to Nagpur and it'll help the common man...etc. However, he said, "Aamchya hayatit?" i.e. "He may not be alive to see it.....".... I immediately said, "No...No.. you're stronger you'll live to see the progress....".

The kind of life these people understand thought they are so called illiterate is beyond imagination.

Still, they keep hard working and still they die in penury, just, because, of the faults of the hegemony of the representatives that lead them since long.

Hope, it changes sooner.

Sooner it changes the better otherwise, it will be very difficult after 10 odd years as image building will be difficult once the public psychi goes against .....these institutions of the importance due to repetitive negligence.... of common man...

This is a very good thought sir, this is very true...In rural India (Tier 2,3,4.,towns & Villages)most people are not bothered about IIT/IIMs, they only think of what they will get immediately and do not think about future about state development or country development..
